The Lazy Labrador is 10 minutes drive from a fast lift that provides easy access into the Grand Massif. The Grand Massif is the 4th largest ski-linked area in France. The ski areas rise up to an altitude of 2,500m and provide breath-taking panoramic views of the French side of the Mont Blanc mountain range. There are 5 linked resorts – Samoëns, Les Carroz, Morillon, Sixt and Flaine and there are a total of 144 pistes.

Within about an hours drive of the Lazy Labrador there are the ski areas of (1) Les Gets / Morzine / Avoriaz / Chatel (2) Megeve (3) Chamonix / Argentiere (4) La Clusaz / Grand Bornand as well as numerous other smaller ski areas like Praz de Lys that provide varied skiing for both experts and beginners.

There is ski de fond at the Col de Joux Plane (10 minutes drive above the Lazy Labrador) as well as in the Samoëns valley snow permitting. Praz de Lys also provides extensive ski de fond.
