Directions from Geneva:

Motorway A40 Genève to Chamonix. and drive in the direction of Chamonix

Exit Cluses – signed to Scionzier, Taninges & Samoëns (Airport-Cluses = 35 minutes)

Follow signs through Cluses to Taninges & Samoëns (8 minutes)

Leaving Cluses, you climb the hill, go through Chatillon, descend the other side and then turn right towards Samoëns (before you get to Taninges) (20 minutes)

Drive through Morillon and arrive in Samoens 6 minutes later

Head to the Bar de Savoie in the Place de l’ Eglise for a pint of Best before heading up to the Barn

Approach Samoëns on the D907 from Taninges then follow the instructions below (please treat all distances as approximate):

ALTERNATIVELY: Reach main square in Samoëns (with church and old lime tree); leave in direction “SIXT” passing Bar Le Savoie and then Le Beauregard to your right; proceed for about 250 metres to point A; take left fork signed to “Chantemerle, Joux Plane, La Rosière”; follow signs to “La Rosière” past points B and C to reach point 10; continue as above.
